Live Learn Lead at Noon
Community conversations that matter
Live Learn Lead @ Noon
In fall 2020, Live Learn Lead at Noon debuted, a series of webinar programs offering engaging speakers in conversation about important and relevant topics: fair voting, policing in Sandy Springs and mental health and wellness. In fall 2021, Live Learn Lead @ Noon will return to an in-person community luncheon with noted speakers under the umbrella of Equity & Inclusion.

Mental Health Matters – Ways to Wellness! (January 2021)
Thank you to our Live Learn Lead at Noon committee and especially our professionals: Elizabeth Douglass, Dr. Joanne Peeler and Dr. Ben Cohen for the information and insight they shared during our recent Live Learn Lead at Noon webinar on Mental Health Matters – Ways to Wellness! We are happy to share the video recording from this session and ask that you share it and the attached wellness tips and resources with family, friends or colleagues. It’s valuable information for all of us, particularly during these challenging times. Stay well and stay tuned for more LSS community-wide events.
Policing in Sandy Springs (December 2020)
Thank you to the Live Learn Lead at Noon team and our panelists for this important conversation about Policing in Sandy Springs with Sandy Springs Deputy Police Chief Keith Zgonc (2017), Mayor Rusty Paul and moderator Dr. Clarissa Sparks (2019). So glad if you joined us, here’s the video if you could not.
Fair Voting: Make It Count! (October 2020)
We received immediate feedback on how informative and nonpartisan the conversation was and how encouraging those listening felt about the integrity of our election system. Thanks to our expert panelists: Vasu Abhiraman, Josh Belinfante (Class of 2015), and Gabriel Sterling, working hard to help every Georgian have the opportunity to safely vote. Feel free to share the following video and voting resources.
