The organization’s mission is to "identify, educate and develop Sandy Springs leaders and encourage their participation in addressing the needs of our community".

HISTORY

Leadership Sandy Springs was founded in 1986 to identify leadership potential in our community and rally those individuals for community action and improvement. Modeled after successful community Leadership programs throughout the nation, LSS was originally sponsored by the Sandy Springs Chamber of Commerce. It is now a separately chartered non-profit organization governed by its own Board of Trustees. Leadership Sandy Springs has close ties with many community and business organizations and collaborates on community initiatives and projects.
